Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m. in the YS Administration Building.

In 2007, a small group of district residents wanted to develop a way to ensure continued success of all students in the York Suburban School system. Volunteers contacted numerous school districts throughout the state, as well as the Middle Atlantic Consortium of Education Foundations to better understand the organizational structure and workings of an education foundation.
Upon review of this information, a task force was created to develop the mission statement of what would become the York Suburban Education Foundation.
In March 2008, the York Suburban School Board unanimously approved a resolution of support for the education foundation. By the summer of 2008, the official organization was fully formed and held its first Board of Directors meeting. |
