Grant Guidelines and Application
The grant program provides funding to teachers, students, administrators and members of the York Suburban community in furtherance of the YSEF’s mission. Grants are not intended to be used for items that would normally be funded through the school budgetary process. Please note that any equipment purchased through YSEF grants becomes the property of the York Suburban School District.
Types of grants include:
- Professional – Available to teachers and administrators. Grant maximum approximately $1,000.
- Classroom – Available to teachers, students and administrators. NO DOLLAR LIMIT.
- Special Purpose Gifts – Available to members of the YS community, teachers, students and administrators. Applications can be considered at any time of the year. NO DOLLAR LIMIT, but subject to availability of funds.
Grant Timing: Deadline for grant submissions is February 1. Funding requests in this cycle are to be used for summer programs, the fall semester, or the upcoming full academic year. Grant recipients will be notified before the end of the current school year.
